Refrigerator Pickles

  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp coarse salt (pickling salt OR sea salt)
  •  2 tsp peppercorns 
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • sprig of fresh dill
  • cucumber cut into spears or slices

In a quart-sized mason jar, add all ingredients. Store in the fridge and wait at least 24 hours before enjoying
